The pacers will be easily identifiable at the start line and will line up in order, so the 40 minute pacer will be towards the front of the pack and the 60 minute pacer will be further back.

The pacers will run an even pace throughout the race so stick with them if they are running at your target time. This will prevent you from running off the start line full of enthusiasm and feeling great over the first few kilometres, only to crash and burn before the finish. If you have any energy to spare burn it up over the last kilometre and not the first.
